<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method simpler than a method for successively forming necessary layers to an individual card and to prevent the damage of a card base material by preliminarily forming and holding a laminate consisting of a recording layer, a reflecting layer and an adhesive layer on a release sheet and transferring the same to the card base material. CONSTITUTION:For example, a resin such as polyvinyl chloride is applied to a release sheet 4 composed of polyethylene terephthalate preliminarily subjected to surface release treatment to form a recording layer 21 and, next, a reflecting layer 22 is formed thereon by the vapor deposition of aluminum. A hot-melt adhesive layer 23 is applied and formed on the layer 22 to form a laminate 2. Next, a card base material 11 is placed on a receiving table 5 wherein a rubber plate 52 is bonded to a metal 51 and the release sheet 4 is sent in so as to turn the laminate 2 downwardly. As the card base material 1, one to which predetermined printings 3, 3 are preliminarily applied can be used. Then, the laminate 2 is pressed to the surface of the card base material under heating by a heating head 6 through the release sheet 4. By this method, the hot-melt adhesive layer 23 is melted to transfer the laminate 2 to the surface of the card base material 1.</p> |
