<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from turning back due to a vibration and to stabilize the loading by allowing a loading arm to stand by at the position of back end of the tape till the tape is loaded to the readable/writable state even after mounted on the device by pushing the back end of the cartridge tape. CONSTITUTION:After the major part of cartridge tape 4 is loaded on the magnetic tape device 1, the loading arm 2f is moved to the back end 4a of tape 4, and a feeder member 2g releases the tape 4. Next, the arm 2f pushes the back end 4a of tape so that the entire tape enters the device 1 then stands by as it is till the tape 4 is finished loading to the readable/writable state. When the loading is completely finished, the arm 2f is returned to the original position. By this procedure, the tape is prevented from turning back due to the vibration, etc., and the loading can be stably performed.</p> |
