PURPOSE:To prevent chips produced from a female screw from contacting with a holder at the time of positional adjustment by making a screw hole diameter of an insulating sheet and a minor diameter of a screw approximately the same at the time of combining the holder for a laser diode and a housing for an optical block via the insulating sheet. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam passing hole 12 is arranged in the center of the insulating sheet 11, and two screw holes 13 are provided on both sides of this hole. The hole diameter of the screw hole 13 is settled to be approximately the same as the minor diameter of the screw 7 for combining the LD holder 3 with the housing 6, and four slit-like notches 14 are formed around each hole 13 in the X-axial direction connecting the two holes and in the Y-axial direction at right angles to the former respectively. By this constitution, the sheet 11 is held between the housing 6 and the holder 3, and they are combined by the screw 7, a peripheral part of the sheet 11 is entered into thread roots of the screw 7. Consequently, even when chips of the female screw are produced, they never come out to the side of the holder 3 to contact the holder. |
