PURPOSE:To obtain an effective pinning point, and obtain a high critical temperature and a critical current density by converting the original raw material or the phase, which is generated during burning, to another superconductive phase finally by heat treatment, and allowing various grid fault and fine deposition, which are generated at the time of converting the phase to emerge evenly across the whole of the wire material. CONSTITUTION:A superconductor of oxide including a group, which is obtained by adding at least one kind of Bi, Pb, Sr, Sb, Li to the Ti-Ba-Ca-Cu-O group, or the material which can be changed to oxide by burning is used as an original raw material. Next, after this original raw material is spun to be formed into the precursor fiber, pretreatment for decomposing the organic material in the fiber is applied to produce the wire material. Thereafter, this wire material is heated to a temperature of ma or higher, and its temperature is raised to mb at the speed higher than 20 deg.C/minute, and is held for longer than 90 minutes, and next, lowered at the speed less than 50 deg.C/hour, and under the condition that the linear form is maintained, the phase of the wire material is converted to the superconductive phase.
