PURPOSE:To easily generate a document of omission type, etc., by designation the partial areas of a bar graph and the document, etc., outputted to a display screen, generating the omission pattern of a waveform corresponding to the size of a designated area, plotting the omission pattern on the designated area, and erasing unrequired image data. CONSTITUTION:In a state where image data in an image data storage means 1 is outputted to the display screen, an arbitrary area to be omitted by an area designation means 2 is designated by a two-point designation method to omit part of the image data. Thereby, an omission pattern generating means 3 generates the omission pattern of the waveform corresponding to the size of the designated area. A generated waveform omission pattern is plotted on the image data storage means 1 in accordance with the designated area by a plotting means 4. At this time, the plotting means 4 erases at least partial image data in the designated area from the image data storage means 1. Thereby, it is possible to work part of the image data to the data part of which is omitted arbitrarily only by designating a simple parameter. |
