PURPOSE:To prevent a malfunction and to improve image quality by deciding the result of the decision of the picture element to be noted as an error when the picture elements having the equal results of the decision including the picture element to be noted do not continue by a specified number or above. CONSTITUTION:The movements of the picture elements included in the region of 5 picture elements X 5 lines centering at the picture element 10 to be noted are decided and the result of the decision of the central picture element 10 among these results is supplied to a terminal 12. The results of the decision of the certain picture elements existing within a frame shown by bold lines 40 are respectively supplied to terminals 14A to 14H. Further, the results of the decision of the peripheral picture elements off the frame shown by the bold lines 40 are supplied to a data selector 24. The result of the decision of the picture element 10 to be noted is decided to be the error when the picture elements having the results of the decision including the picture element 10 to be noted do not continue by the specified number or above. The error of the results of the decision on the movement is detected in this way without the malfunction even at the boundary parts between the moving parts and static parts of the images. The image quality particularly in a frame print is improved. |
