PURPOSE:To easily decide the arrangement of a component feeder by a method wherein, on the basis of types of component feeders and on the basis of stored information, individual component feeders are attached in such a way that their occupied areas are not overlapped. CONSTITUTION:Positions for individual mounting seats are stored by using a position storage means 10; on the other hand, occupied regions on a mounting base 4 regarding individual component feeders 5 are stored by using the occupied region storage means 10. According to kinds of the component feeders to be attached to the mounting base 4 which has been input by using an input means 11 and on the basis of the kinds and of stored information, the mounting seats which can be mounted in such a way that occupied areas regarding individual component feeders 5 are not overlapped are dicided by using the mounting-seat decision means 10. Thereby, when the component feeders 5 are rearranged, the mounting seats for the individual component feeders can be decided by a simple operation to input the kinds of the component feeders 5 to be attached to the mounting base. |
