PURPOSE:To simplify the structure by passing a transfer material between an image forming body and a transfer body, and transferring a color toner image by a first or second transfer means in the passing process. CONSTITUTION:An electrifying means 13, an exposure means 14, and developing means 15Y-15BK, a transfer body 16, a first transfer means 17 and a cleaning means 18 are disposed around a photosensitive belt 10, and a fixed distance from the developing means 15 is held by a space holding member 19. The transfer body 16 makes contact with the belt 10, the first transferring equipment 17 is disposed on the inside thereof, and the transfer body 16 is carried synchronously with a toner image on the belt 10 so that a multicolor toner image is superposed in the same position. Around the transfer body 16, a second transfer means 22, an electricity removing means 23, and a second cleaning means 24 are disposed, so that the transfer is conducted, the color toner can be easily separated from the transfer body, the residual toner after transfer is removed, and the cleaning means is pressed into contact with the transfer body 16 only at the time of cleaning for cleaning processing. According to this constitution, the carrying passage is simplified, resulting in the simplification of the structure, and the device and the image are less fouled. |
