PURPOSE:To reduce the operation accompanied with range designation as much as possible by editing a character string corresponding to a morpheme unit starting from a certain position based on the same command indication as editing of an independent character. CONSTITUTION:A command analyzing part 2 which analyzes the classification of a processing request, an operation executing part 4 which performs processing execution of a command for a character string of a text in a text holding part 6 or an independent character in accordance with the analyzed command, a character string analyzing part 7 which analyzed morphemes of the character string as the editing object to obtain delimiter position information, and a state holding part 5 where obtained delimiter position information, and a state holding part 5 where obtained delimiter position information is written and the state is changed by an operation executing part 4 are provided. The character string corresponding to the morpheme unit starting from a certain position is edited based on the same command as editing of an independent character. Thus, the operation accompanied with range designation is reduced as much as possible, and objects different in level such as characters, words, clauses, and sentences are edited with the same command. |
