Method and device (1) for feeding several yarns (7) to a support (11) to obtain a ply (13), while giving the yarns (7) a non-rectilinear form. The yarns (7) are fed at a controlled speed to a cylindrical drum (2) rotating about an axis. The yarns (7) are given a non-rectilinear form by means of teeth (5) which are moved with respect to each other, and parallel to the axis of rotation. At least some of these teeth are flexible between a free end in contact with a yarn (7) and an anchor zone. Plies (13) obtained using this method or device are disclosed, these plies being used, for example, in a tyre casing.
