<p>NEW MATERIAL:A monoclonal antibody specifically reacting to a peptide shown by the formula. USE:A diagnosticum for infection of virus such as AIDS virus having Tat-III gene and a studying reagent for gene transfer analysis and infection mechanism of virus having Tat-III gene. PREPARATION:For example, peptide shown by the formula is linked to a carrier protein, suspended in a buffer solution, a mouse is immunized against the suspension by injecting to the abdominal cavity of the mouse and, after the final immunization, a splenic liquid is extracted, washed, then fused with a myeloma cell of mouse and cultured in a selective medium to give a hybridoma. Then the hybridoma is screened, a positive clone is selected, cloned by limiting dilution, made into a monoclone and the monoclone is cultured to give a monoclonal antibody specific to a peptide shown by the formula.</p> |
