PURPOSE:To enable the title method to shorten time necessary for controlling a position of a blow nozzle accurately by measuring the central position of a mouthpiece part of a blow mold and that of the blow nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A mouthpiece is formed by fitting a die plate 12 to the center of the upper part of a blow mold 10 and a position detector 14 is provided on the top of the mold 10. When a ball 22 is put on the die plate 12, the ball 22 comes into contact with a circular cone of the same and the central position of the ball 22 is turned into a state where it is coincident with the central position of the die plate 12. Measurement of a position of the ball 22 is performed by the position detector 14 under this state. In other words, the measurement of the position in an X-wise direction is performed by a light emission part 16a and light receiving part 18a and that in a Y-wise direction is performed by a light emission part 16b and light receiving part 18b. Then the positions in the X-wise and Y-wise directions of a blow nozzle 20 are measured by the position detector 14 under a state where the ball 22 is removed and the blow nozzle 20 is descended down to a blow position. Then a difference between both measured results is calculated and control of the position of the blow nozzle 20 in a horizontal direction is performed so that the central position of the blow nozzle 20 coincides with that of the ball 22. |
