<p>PURPOSE:To make an operation at a low cost and to prevent discharge of CO2 to atmosphere by burning general coal or low quality coke with oxygen, utilizing sensible heat of exhaust gas after burning the exhaust gas with a gas turbine and further, liquefying CO2. CONSTITUTION:In a smelting reduction iron manufacturing device providing a smelting reduction furnace 12 and a pre-reduction furnace 14, the general coal or the low quality coke is used as a reducing fuel 34 in the smelting reduction furnace 12 and O2 for burning from an oxygen manufacturing device 13 is used. This exhaust gas 16 is used as the fuel gas 48 to the gas turbine 18 for generator 19 and burnt together with the above-mentioned O2. The exhaust gas 21 from this gas turbine 18 passes to carbon dioxide gas liquefying means 33 after recovering the sensible heat with an exhaust gas boiler 22 and a steam turbine 23 for generator 24. Then, the above-mentioned exhaust gas 21 is compressed and cooled to liquefy CO2. By this method, the reducing fuel is used at a low cost and the exhaust gas is efficiently utilized and also the discharge of CO2 to the atmosphere is prevented.</p> |
