The switch housing (1, 2) accommodates a membrane (4) behind an opening (9) and a switch (6) on the other side of the membrane (4). A closed reference chamber (10), formed behind the membrane (4), is thermally compensated. A compensation chamber (13) is connected to the reference chamber (10), whose volume increases on heating so that the pressure in the reference chamber (10) is not increased. USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be arranged inside holder filled with an oil coolant to give reliable switching at given threshold, even if temp. increases.
