[Also in Division C3] Acoustical fibre board is made from a mass of glass fibres and phenolic resin binder by curing the mass on a conveyer passing through an oven, compressing it in the oven, sanding and painting one surface of the product wherein after curing of the binder, the board is impregnated with a urea-melamine-formaldehyde resin product composition. The impregnant may also contain “-10% of an epoxy-functional compound comprising a silane, a disiloxane or a silicon polymer.</p> |
