PURPOSE:To obtain a catalyst for production of diacyloxyalkene from conjugate diene-carboxylic acid and oxygen by using silica having specific pore structure as a carrier and carrying group VIII noble metals and grup IV, V, VI elements of periodic table in combination on this carrier. CONSTITUTION:Silica of >=200m<2>/g specific surface area and >=100Angstrom average pore sizes is used as a carrier for a solid catalyst of less degradation of catalyst activity with age for the purpose of producing diacyloxyalkene by reacting conjugate diene- carboxylic acid and oxygen. At least one kinds of Pd, Pt, etc. as group VIII noble metals of periodic table and Te, Ge, Sn, Pd, etc. as group IV, V, VI elements excluding C, N, O are carried thereon in the combinations of Pd-Te-Sn or Pd-Ge-Se etc. The catalyst of which the catalytic activity does not degrade with age is obtained. |
