This invention relates to a method according to which it is possible to optimise the kinetics of the mesophilic and thermophilic oxidated bioconversions in the solid phase by preparing the biomass in the following way. The solid substrates are powdered and intimately mixed together cold in the presence of air, or with liquid substrates until they are saturated; at the same time the relative moisture content of the mixture is controlled to values of not less than 45%. The biomass prepared in this way is agglomerated in limited volumes and sent to the bio-oxidative stage. This method of preparing the biomass makes it possible to reduce the times for the oxidative bioconversion of biomass - of identical composition - processed using conventional systems by up to six times, obtaining perfectly homogeneous finished products. |
