<p>PURPOSE:To control the plate crown without disturbing the shape by comparing the plate crown detecting signal with the target plate set value, comparing the disturbed degree of the shape of rolled stock of the shape detecting signal with the average value of the lateral direction, and setting the arithmetic and control unit for controlling the jetting quantity of cooling liquid due to the above result. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic and control unit 23 inputs the shape detecting signal 24 from a shape detector 16, the plate crown detecting signal 25 from a plate crown meter 19 and the target plate crown set value 27 from a setting device 26, and outputs the control command to a cooling device 12. If the above plate crown detecting signal is larger than the upper limit value decided based on the target plate crown set value and the disturbed shape of rolled stock due to the above plate crown detecting signal is smaller than the average value of the lateral direction, the jetting quantity of the cooling liquid is decreased in this detected district. And the jetting quantity of cooling liquid is increased on the district detected that if the plate crown detecting signal is smaller than the lower limit value decided based on the plate crown set value and the disturbed degree of rolled stock from the shape detecting signal is larger than the average value of the lateral direction.</p> |
