A mathematical circuit mode is used, with detection of the corresponding input and output signals at spaced sampling points to obtain a number of pairs of input and output values evaluated to determine the model parameters. Weighting functions are calculated from the summation integral of the transmission path response values and the transmission function values from a summation integral of the weighting functions. The transmission function values are used to provide a linear equation system, with the equations solved using the obtained value pairs to provide the polynom coefficient.
