Hole(s) are in the wiper assembly through which the prod. may pass. Pref. assembly has internally heated tube(s) (8) over which the prod. flows. The tubes are straddled by a wiping assembly (10) which moves back and forth along length. Each wiper assembly has a hole (17a, b, c) through which the prod. may pass. Holes in the wiper assembly are close to the heated pipe. The size of individual holes and the number of wiper holes is increased for concentrated prods. The distance between the wiper blades holes and the heated tube surface is reduced for concentrated prods. USE/ADVANTAGE - Prevents the formation of "dry zones" which are harmful to highly viscous prods. or partially solid prods. to achieve optimum evapn.
