A fluidising agent for mineral binders is based on water-sol. condensation prods. from sulphonated naphthalene or alkylnaphthalene and HCHO, and contains co-condensed sulphonated carbazole. The condensate is based on methylnaphthalene mixts., with a molar ratio of carbazole:(alkyl)naphthalene of 0.05-0.2:1. Naphthalene or alkylnaphthalene is mixed with carbazole and sulphonated, sulphonated prod. is condensed with HCHO in an acid medium, and then neutralised with alkali(ne earth) liquor.
