<p>The present invention provides a compound having structure (I) or (II), wherein R1 is hydrogen, benzyl, or a substituted benzyl group; X is hydrogen, a fluoro, an amino, or a substituted amino group; Y is hydrogen, a methoxy, a methylthio, a benzylthio, an isopropyl, a chloro, an amino, or a substituted amino group; Y' is an oxo or a thio group; and Z is hydrogen, a hydroxy, a methoxy, a halogen, an amino, or a substituted amino group. The present invention also provides processes for synthesizing a compound having the above-identified structure as well as the intermediate compounds produced thereby.</p> |
