Determin. of organic cpds. comprises enzymatic oxidn. or redn. in the presence of associated adenine dinucleotides in a flow reactor. The enzyme and corresp. coenzyme are immobilised and retained by a filtration membrane, and the change in fluorescence intensity as the coenzyme is reduced or oxidised is measured. USE - For the determn. of glucose, fructose and sorbitol with a glucose-fructose oxidoreductase and NADP-coenzyme complex, or the determn. of pyruvate, lactate, malate and oxaloacetate using a malate-lactate transhydrogenase and the NAD-coenzyme complex.
