<p>PURPOSE:To prevent lubrication failure at the time of low speed operation and over cooling capacity at the time of high speed operation securely by forming a rear suction passage, which communicates a swash plate chamber with a rear suction chamber, with a main suction passage to be closed at the minimum time of an angle of the swash plate and with an auxiliary suction passage, which is made of a narrow hole and is always open. CONSTITUTION:In a swash plate type continuous variable capacity type compressor, a double faced piston 6 is housed in multiple pairs of bores 5a, 5b in front and rear of a swash plate chamber 2, which is formed in a cylinder block 1. Inclination of a swash plate 12 is fluctuated on the basis of the axial displacement of a slider 10, which is moved with a fushing 8 provided in a driving shaft 7 freely to move, and the delivery is changed continuously. In this case, a rear suction passage for communicating with the swash plate chamber 2 consists of a main suction passage 27, which consists of a first passage 27a between each bore 5b, a second passage 27b opened in a housing chamber 28 of the fushing 8, and an annular third passage 27c for communicating the housing chamber 328 with the rear suction chamber 23, and an auxiliary suction passage 29 made of a narrow hole for communicating each first passage 27a with the rear suction chamber 23. Refrigerant circulation quantity at a required lowest value is thereby secured by the auxiliary suction passage 29 at the time of low speed operation.</p> |
