The relative positions of the texts or patterns on the covering sheet and of the containers are detected. Any discrepancy is corrected by length alteration. This alteration is reversible, and is carried out free of stress by local temp. alteration of part of the sheet (5) or strip (1). Welding of the two together can be done immediately after temp. alteration, which is typically +/- 15 to 20 degrees. The strip or sheet can be heated or cooled for different amounts. USE/ADVANTAGE - Produces containers from plastic strip and covers them with sheet material. Usable with a wide range of materials. |
