<p>The invention relates to a lid construction for a composter, which comprises a lid, walls and a bottom 3 which contains insulating material. The lid on the composter has been formed from one or more lid elements 10 which are closely connected to each other and which contain an outer wall 10a, which functions as an impermeable protective layer, and a water-permeable heat insulation 12. There is an airspace 13 between the heat insulation 12 and the outer wall 10a, thereby making it possible for the moisture which rises from the composter to be saturated so as to form liquid drops in the said airspace and for the liquid drops to fall back into the composter.</p> |
