<p>PURPOSE:To enable easy survey of split distribution in a rock bed in the depth of a working face within a limited space such as tunnel working face by emitting and receiving electromagnetic pulses with the frequency of some 100MHz and analyzing the reflected wave. CONSTITUTION:An emission antenna 1 has wave with center frequency of some 100MHz to 1GHz, pulse width of 1 to 2ns, emission power of ca. 100Vpp, and high frequency gain of 24db. By moving this antenna 1 and receiver antenna 2 along the direction of two measurering lines A and B set on the working face 6 in a tunnel 5, emission and reception are repeated. By analyzing the reflected wave with a CRT for monitor and a controller data recorder 3 including a small printer, the distribution state of splits C in the cross section in a few meter deep in the measuring lines A and B can be surveyed in real time.</p> |
