PURPOSE:To increase the diagnostic efficiency, by transferring the instruction from the microprocessor on the sub-CPU board to the system to be tested, in the diagnostic system for the system to be tested incorporating microprocessor. CONSTITUTION:The built-in microprocessor 3 of the system 2 to be tested is removed, and instead, the connection 11 is mounted and it is set to the set 8 on the test CPU board 7 as the microprocessor 9. Further, the sub-CPU board incorporating the processor 14 the same type as the processor 3 is set to the sub-CPU board section 12. With this state, the bus route L2 is made effective, allowing the microprocessor 14 in place of the processor 9 to access the memory 5 and input/output device. Further, the bus route is made ineffective to start the microprocessor 9, allowing to diagnose as the microprocessor in the diagnostic system. |
