发明名称 IMAGE RECEIVING MATERIAL FOR SUBLIMABLE THERMAL TRANSFER
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a void in an image, improve dot reproducibility, and obtain good uniformity in a recording image, and prevent the occurrence of curl by a method wherein a substrate is obtained by laminating three layers, i.e., synthetic paper, polyethylene terephthalate film, and synthetic paper, a dye accepting layer made of a vinyl chloride resin is provided on one surface of the substrate, and a back layer is provided on the other surface. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving medium is composed of a substrate A, a dyeable layer B, and a back layer C. A sublimable thermal transfer recording medium is composed of a base film 2 and a dye transfer layer 3. The heat from a thermal head 1 causes a thermally sublimable dye to be sublimated and diffused from the dye transfer layer 3 of the sublimable thermal transfer recording medium. The sublimated dye is transferred to the dyeable layer B of the image receiving medium. The sublimable dye transferred to the image receiving medium diffuses and dyes in a dyeable resin forming the dyeable layer B. Since a laminate of synthetic paper/PET/ synthetic paper is used for the substrate A, the image receiving medium exhibits good image uniformity of recording image. Moreover, the back layer C can prevent the curl of the image receiving medium.
