发明名称 CONTROL APPARATUS FOR SCANNER OPTICAL SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To smoothly carry out the scanning operation aiming at image formation from the outset, by executing the scanning operation not aiming out image formation when the temperature of a fixing unit is not higher than a specified value after application of a power supply and changing an initial control value for control of the scanner optical system operation into a value conforming to the load of the apparatus at that time, and conversely making the control value stored in a non-volatile memory an initial control value when the temperature of the fixing unit is higher than specified. CONSTITUTION:Upon application of a power supply, CPU 100 delivers a scanner gain setting operation signal to a main CPU 104 to decide on a fixing temperature of a fixing unit by a thermistor 106 in regard to whether or not that temperature is higher than 150 deg.C. In case of not higher than 150 deg.C, it reads the initial control value from ROM 101 and writes it into RAM 102. When starting the scan operation, renewing the control value stored in RAM 102 from the scan operation, and executing the scan operations twenty times, the control values are converged into a certain value to smoothly execute the succeeding scan operations. In case of higher than 150 deg.C, the control value stored in RAM 102 converted into a non-volatile memory optimumly corresponds to the load of the machine and therefore this value is set as an initial control value.
