PURPOSE:To eliminate bad cleaning and prevent a transfer electrifier and a paper sheet chute located at the front of a transfer position from becoming dirty, by actuating one or both of a pretransfer de-electrifier and a paper sheet peeling off de-electrifier against an interimage portion formed static latent image of a target. CONSTITUTION:In case that a target 62 image is formed at an interimage portion and the density of the image is adjusted, a major electrifier 12, a development counter 15, a pretransfer de-electrification lamp 25 and a peeling off de- electrifier 18 are actuated, and voltage impression on a paper sheet chute 26 and the action of a transfer electrifier 17 are made to be OFF. Hereupon, arrangement is made so that toner adhesion force against a photosensitive body may be weakened by actuating the lamp 25 and the de-electrifier 18, and mal-cleaning may be eliminated through the facilitation of cleaning, and the actuation of both is not necessarily conducted. Effect is achieved by actuating only either one of the lamp 25 and the de-electrifier 18. Also, in the case of the pretransfer de-electrifier being constituted not with a photo-de-electrifier but with an AC corona electric discharger, it is not necessary to actuate the de-electrifier 18. |
