PURPOSE:To improve the cooling efficiency of winding by providing a cooling ring having a cooling wind channel between end rings holding the external diameter plane of winding and winding. CONSTITUTION:Winding 2 is provided at the end of an iron core 1 for a rotor and at the internal diameter side of this winding 2, a rotor shaft 3 is provided. On the external periphery of winding, a cooling ring 4 is installed and the external periphery of the said ring is retained by means of an end ring 5. In addition, a piercing hole 6 in a radial direction and a groove 7 crossing an axial direction and a perhpheral direction are provided. By providing this cooling ring 4, it is possible to form a wind channel passing through the hole 6 and the groove 7 installed on the cooling ring and coming out at the external peripheral side of the rotor as well as to effectively cool winding on the average. |
