发明名称 SUBLIMABLE IMAGE RECEIVING MEDIUM FOR THERMAL TRANSFER AND THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING USING SAME
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a sublimable image receiving medium for thermal transfer which is free from color contaminated or a ghost generated by back transfer of sublimable dye of different color by laminating at least, two dyeable layers on a substrate and at the same time, adding a higher concentration of resin with a low glass transition temperature than a surface layer, on a lower layer. CONSTITUTION:The subject image receiving medium consists of two dyeable receptive layers (A), (B) provided on a substrate, and the layer (A) is composed mainly of preferably, dyeable resin and a mold lubricant and the layer (B) is made, mainly of dyeable resin. In addition, the layer (B) is allowed to contain a higher concentration of dyeable resin with low glass transition temperature than the layer (A), or the layer (B) is allowed to contain dyeable resin with low glass transition temperature, or the layer (B) alone is allowed to have the lower glass transition temperature of dyeable resin than that of the layer (A). Thus a sublimable image receiving medium for thermal transfer is formed. The recommended resins which can easily be dyed using the sublimable dye are polyester, polycarbonate, polysulfone, polystyrene, polyvinylalcohol, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylacetate, copolymer of vinylchloride/vinyl acetate and polyamide.
