发明名称 SUBLIMABLE IMAGE RECEIVING MEDIUM FOR THERMAL TRANSFER AND THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING USING SAME
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate color contamination or ghost generation caused by back transfer of sublimable dye of different color from an image receiving layer to an ink layer by laminating at least, two dyeable layers on a substrate, and at the same time, constituting a lower layer of higher dyeable resin than a surface layer. CONSTITUTION:The subject image receiving medium consists of two dyeable receptive layers (A), (B) on a substrate. Preferably, the layer (A) should consist of dyeable resin and a mold lubricant as main constituents, while the layer (B) should be composed mainly of dyeable resin and should have more highly dyeable resin than that of the layer (A). The resins which can be stained using sublimable dyes are polyester, polycarbonate, polysulfone, polystyrene, polyvinylalcohol, polyvinylchloride, polyvinylacetate, vinylchloride/vinylacetate copolymer, polyamide, polyurethane and styrene/acryl copolymer. For multi-repeatable print recording, the n-magnification mode is bent suited as the stacked transfer sheet and image receiving medium undergoes printing process under conditions 'speed of the image receiving medium/speed of the transfer medium > 1' or 'the feed amount of the image receiving medium/the feed amount of the transfer medium > 1'.
