PURPOSE:To provide excellent high-rate charging/discharging characteristics and also low-temp. discharge characteristics by adding a mixture solvent of ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate as the basic solvent to an electrolytic solution, and further adding 1,3-dimetoxypropane as No.3 component. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte solvent is used which consists of ethylene carbonate stable for eduction of Li ion, propylene carbonate having good stability in electrochemical oxidation and reduction and also excellent low-temp. stability, and 1,3-dimetoxypropane having excellent ion movability and good stablility in electrochemical oxidation and reduction. Therein ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate are used in equal proportion by vol., and while the 1,3- dimetoxypropylene content shall be 30-60% of the whole film of electrolyte. Thus a secondary battery is accomplished excellent both in high-rate discharging characteristic and low-temp. discharging characteristic. |
