MOBILE STORAGE SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED DRIVING ASSEMBLIES A mobile storage system including a plurality of one-piece track members each defining a guideway and a series of longitudinally spaced holes. The system also includes a carriage rotatably supported on the track members on rollers riding in the guideways. A drive mechanism on the carriage includes a sprocket which directly engages the unitary holes in each track member. In a preferred embodiment for heavy units, the drive mechanism includes a pair of such sprockets mounted on a common shaft driven at a midpoint to reduce carriage canting.
