PURPOSE:To allow secure adhesion without denaturing the bone tissue by constituting the above compsn. of polyalkyl methacrylate derived from methacrylate having 1 to 4C alkyl group, calcium phosphate, alkyl methacrylate having 1 to 4C alkyl group, 4-(2-methacryloxyethyl)trimellitic acid and/or its anhydride thereof, and a polymn. initiator. CONSTITUTION:The powder prepd. by mixing a small amt. of barium sulfate with polymethyl methacrylate and hydroxyapatite are mixed to prepare a solid component P. Separately, the methyl methacrylate and the 4-(2- methacryloyoxyethyl)trimellitic acid are mixed to prepare a liquid component (L). Several drops of-n-butyl boran are added to this liquid component and both are well mixed. The solid component P is then compounded therewith and the liquid is intimately mixed. The calcium phosphate and the polymethyl methacrylate are specified to 0.1:99.9 to 90:10 by weight and the component P/the component L are specified to 0.01 to 10 in this case. |
