A box for feeding of animals, preferably pigs, is provided with a gate (7), which is arranged to swing round a horizontal shaft (8) between a closed position (A) and an open position (B). According to the invention the gate is provided with a weight (10), which is displaceable by gravity relative to the gate and which acts on the gate. The weight is adapted to force the gate to swing towards the closed position (A), when the gate is between the closed position and a position of equilibrium (C), and to swing towards the open position (B), when the gate is between said position of equilibrium and the open position. |
