PURPOSE:To enable a printed board to be fully protected against damage by a method wherein an electronic component feed section and an X-Y table are instantaneously stopped through regenerative braking, a power failure preventing function of a board transfer system and a temporary voltage drop of a power supply are detected, and a component mounting equipment is fully stopped. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply 12 is cut off, a motor 16 on which the inertial force of a load acts is made to serve as a generator, a current 18 flows through a resistor 17 and turns into thermal energy. By this setup, the motor 16 is braked to stop an XY table and a Z shaft instantaneously. Then, when a voltage drops temporarily, a direct current power supply 19 which withstands the fluctuation of a power supply in voltage is prepared to enable a detection circuit 20 to operate. The circuit 20 outputs a signal through a comparator actuating a relay 23 when a voltage drops to a certain value or below. The signal concerned is inputted in series to an emergency stop circuit 24 of an inserter to cut off the power supply 12 of a mounting equipment. When the power supply is cut off, a relay 13 is actuated and the XY table and the Z shaft are instantaneously stopped. |
