PURPOSE:To notify the response to a cage call and the approach of a cage by using an electronic melody generator generating a melody by electronic sounds on the basis of a preliminarily stored scale. CONSTITUTION:An electronic melody generator has an integrated circuit and a sound producing body integrated therein, and when a power source voltage is applied as an operation signal, a melody by electronic sounds is generated on the basis of a preliminarily stored scale data. A sound production selecting part 10 selects and calls the scale data from a memory part 11 in response to the registration signal of a hall call button, and transmits it to a sound producing part 12. The sound producing part 12 produces the sound of the scale data as it is, but, when a designation from the sound production selecting part 10 is received, the scale data is transformed into a designated form, and the sound is produced. The scale data I is selected from the memory part 11, and a sound of a score 20 is produced. When a cage approaches a stop scheduled floor, and a signal is transmitted from a position detector, the scale data II is also selected from the memory part, and a sound of a score 21 is produced in the course of the score 20. |
