发明名称 THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent sticking or adhesion of scum to a thermal head during printing and adapt to a change in environmental conditions by incorporating thermosetting resin globular particle specified in average particle diameter in a thermal recording layer provided on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material provided with a thermal recording layer on a substrate, globular particle made of a thermosetting resin having an average particle diameter of 5-20mum is incorporated in the thermal recording layer. At this time, it is preferable that the thermosetting resin globular particle is incorporated in the amount of 0.5-15 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of solid content of the thermal recording layer. Additionally, it is desirable that the thermosetting resin globular particle is hollow porous material and at least one coating layer mainly composed of a pigment and an adhesive is provided under the thermal recording layer. The thermal recording material having such a construction exhibits good sticking characteristics even with a change in environmental conditions and can be improved in printing scum adhesion characteristics.
