PURPOSE:To produce a black color on a color forming material superior in resistance to light, chemicals, and plasticizer by using a compound containing a specific compound and a fluorane compound as an electron donative dye. CONSTITUTION:In a pressure-sensitive recording material producing a color image by reacting a substantially colorless electron donative dye with an electron accepting color developer, a compound containing a compound shown by a general formula (I) and a fluorane compound is used as the electron donative dye. The pressure-sensitive recording sheet constructed in this manner is superior in resistance to light, plasticizer, and chemicals and improved in hue in comparison with a conventional pressure-sensitive recording sheet and can exhibit a remakably good performance. In addition, in the formula (I), R1-R4 are hydrogen atom, alkyl group, and aryl group; R5-R9 are hydrogen atom or monovalent group; (m) and (n) are integers 1-4; and R10 represents -XR11, -PO(OR12)2, -CR13R14R15, -NR16R17, and -SO2R18. In these formulas, X is oxigen atom or sulfur atom; R11-R18 are hydrogen atom or monovalent group; and at least one of R13, R14, and R15 represents an electron attractive group. |
