<p>PURPOSE:To increase functions and to improve operability by providing an inclination detection means detecting the inclination of an upper case, and holding a track ball with the upper case so that they can move and they can freely and relatively turn. CONSTITUTION:The track ball 11, the movable upper case 12, a base 13, a switch 14, a joint 15 and a fixed lower case 16 are provided. A casing consists of the fixed lower case 16 and the movable upper case 12 which is held so that it can be inclined against the fixed lower case 16 through a universal joint. The inclination detection means 14 detects the inclination of the upper case 12 and the track ball 11 is held with the movable upper case 12 so that they can move and they can freely and relatively turn. Thus, an operator can move a pointer or a cursor to an arbitrary position on a display only by inclining the track ball with the upper case 12. They can be handled extremely easily.</p> |
