A process is described for point-feeding aluminium oxide in electrolysis cells for producing aluminium, with the electrolysis cells having been provided with Soederberg anodes and aluminium oxide being supplied to the electrolyte bath through at least one point-feeding device which is located in at least one indentation in the anode casing. A device for supplying aluminium oxide in the given electrolysis cells is likewise described, and, in this connection, at least one point-feeding device is located, for supplying aluminium oxide, in at least one indentation in the anode casing. Finally, an anode casing for Soederberg anodes which are intended for aluminium electrolysis cells is described, with the anode casing, whose cross section is principally rectangular, having been provided with at least one indentation. <IMAGE> |
