摘要 |
PURPOSE:To show excellent oxidation resistance even in a high-temperature oxidizing atmosphere by forming a coating film of SiC on the surface of a carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite material by conversion method and making a mixed coating film of B2O3 and SiO2 on the surface to pack and seal very small cracks. CONSTITUTION:A SiO gas is brought into contact with the surface of a carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite material and reacted with a carbon component constituting a material texture face to form a first coating layer comprising a SiC coating film of functionally gradient texture. Then the SiC coating face is impregnated with a solution of a metal alkoxide [e.g. B(OC12H25)3 containing a B component and a metal alkoxide [e.g. Si(OC2H5)4] containing a Si component in vacuum, heat-treated and a mixed coating film of B2O3 and SiO2 is formed to give an oxidation-resistant carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite material. |
