PURPOSE:To allow a photosensitive belt to be used both for a hard member and for an elastic member in a selective manner by partially setting the photosensitive belt into close contact with a driving roller with an outer circumferential length which is shorter than an inner circumferential length of the photosensitive body belt, and producing a deflection to the photosensitive body belt according to the difference in the circumferential length between the photosensitive body and the driving roller. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body belt 10 is partially brought into close contact with the surface of a driving roller 11 by means of a pushingly pressing member 12. On the other hand, a deflection 13 of the photosensitive body belt is produced in way of a part where the pushingly pressing member 12 is not contact according to the difference in the circumferential length between the photosensitive body belt 10 and the driving roller 11. Thus, the hardness of the photosensitive body belt 10 can be simulated by the hardness of the driving roller 11 in the part where the photosensitive body belt is tightly pressed by means of the pushingly pressing member 12. Therefore, the photosensitive body belt 10 can be used as a hard member in way of this part. On the other hand, where the pushingly pressing member 12 is not in contact, the photosensitive body belt 10 produces the deflection 13, leading to the use as an elastic member. This constitution allows the photosensitive body belt 10 to be used in a selective manner as the hard member or the elastic member according to contact/non-contact of the pushingly pressing member 12. |
