The invention relates to a planting device 1, suitable for being able to plant a plant 4, preferably a tree plant rooted as a root cover plant, in a formed hole 2 in the ground 3, comprising a tube 10, a trap 11 disposed at the one end, the lower end, of the tube, which trap, in a closed position, holds a plant in a waiting position inside the one end of the tube and, in an open position, allows the plant to drop down into a hole 2 formed by the opening motion of the trap 11, a handle 12 disposed at the other end, the upper end, of the tube and suitable for lifting and aligning the tube 10, a foot plate 13, formed or applied in the one end region of the tube, for making it easier with a first foot action to guide the one end of the tube, together with the closed trap 11, down into the ground, and a lever system 14, by means of which the trap 11 can be opened using a second foot action. A pumping device 20 applied to the one end region of the tube interacts with the said lever system 14 and/or the said trap 11 and the motion of the lever system and/or of the trap is arranged to actuate or start up the pumping device in such a way that it pumps a quantity of liquid via a first tube system 22 to the plant once the plant is in a rest position or as it begins to drop down towards the hole. <IMAGE> |
