PURPOSE:To reduce storage capacity and to accelerate processing by allocating fundamental information as a resident dictionary, holding it in a storage area, preparing required information as a sequential dictionary by estimating it from the result of processing knowledge according to the resident dictionary, and additionally holding it in the storage area. CONSTITUTION:A first knowledge processing part 2 is provided to execute the knowledge processing of an input character code train based on a resident dictionary 6, a dictionary preparation part 3 is provided to prepare a sequential dictionary 7 based on the result, and a second knowledge processing part 4 is provided to further execute the knowledge processing of the result of the first knowledge processing part 2. Then, the knowledge processing of the input character code train is executed based on the resident dictionary 6 by the first knowledge processing part 2, the sequential dictionary 7 is prepared based on the result by the dictionary preparation part 3, and the knowledge processing of the result of the first knowledge processing part 2 is further executed based on the resident dictionary 6 and the newly prepared sequential dictionary 7 by the second knowledge processing part 4. Thus, the high-speed processing is enabled by the compact dictionary 6. |
