PURPOSE:To obtain a binary level to make a picture stabilizing a boundary between an object and the background by dividing a window surrounding the picture of the object into plural small windows containing the object and the background, and collecting a brightness data for each small window. CONSTITUTION:The binary level is decided, the window is set to surround the subject image composed of the object and the background, and this window is divided into the plural small windows containing the boundary between the object and the background. Then, the brightness data are collected from pictures in the plural small windows. Namely, since the window surrounding the subject image is divided into the plural small windows containing the boundary between the object and the background, the wideness of the background existing in one small window is decreased, dispersion in the brightness of the background and a range for nonuniform luminance is limited. Thus, even when there is dispersion and nonuniformity in the brightness of the background, the binary level to make the picture stabilizing the boundary between the object and the background can be obtained, and manual adjustment is reduced. |
