The method consists in: - subtracting (2) the number of bits (B) allowed per unit of time by the network from the number of bits (A) transmitted per unit of time by the terminal; - in totalling (2) the results of the basic subtractions; - and in allowing (5, 6) transmission of the bits A as long as the result of the subtraction is less than a threshold value Th1 defined by the network.
